Server-PathServer-Path


Server-path is a path on the hard-disk wich contain the file(s) you want to public with this server. If the location does not exist or if the server has not enough rights to read files/directories from the location it will send a file not found error instead.

Index-PageIndex-Page


Index-page is a filename of a file that will be send if a directory is requested that has this file in his directory.

404-page404-page


404-page is a filename of a file that will be send when a file is requested that does not exist or if the server has not enough rights to read the requested file. This file must be in the server-path and sub-directories will not have an own 404-page. The 404-page can be a CGI-page.

Connection speedConnection speed


Connection speed is the size of the buffer that will be used for receiving and sending data. The server will optimal use the brandwidth if the Connection speed is equal or above the data transmition speed. If the Connection speed is lower there will be brandwidth left, if this is the case the server will be able to handle more clients in the same time.

Maximum connectionsMaximum connections


Maximum connections is the limit of clients that may be connected to the server in the same time. Other connections will be rejected if this limit has been reached

Maximum content(client)Maximum content(client)


Maximum content is the limit (in bytes) that can be send by the client. The connection will be broken if the client reach this limit.

Server-application timeoutServer-application timeout


Server-application timeout is a quota in time(in seconds). The server-application will be killed if the applications take longer than this quota to answer. More in information can be found here.

Respond timeRespond time


Respond time is a time in seconds. This value is used when a client is sending the request to the server. The time that it takes to send the request with optional data (from the client) to the server do we call Respond time. When you set this value to let's say 120 seconds(=2 minutes) you will give a client 2 minutes the time to send the full request before the server will proceed.

Logout timerLogout timer


Logout timer is a time in minutes. Everytime when this time has passed by and nobody has logged in a code will be refreshed wich is used to generate the acces codes. Afther this everybody will need to relogin. This value has standart been set to 2 minutes for security reasons.

Logout timer for administratorsLogout timer for administrators


Logout timer for administrators is almost the same as Logout timer, but this value is only for the administrator pages(port 81).

Use TCPV6Use TCPV6


Use TCPV6 is an option to turn the use of TCPV6 on/off. Hitherto protocol TCPV4 has been used over the world wide web but there are advanced plans to use TCPV6 in the future. We all used to a IP's like 127.1 but the TCPV6 IP will look like this [::1]. For more information go to w3.org. Not all systems do support TCPV6, go to the microsoft site for more information about that.

Directory listeningDirectory listening


Directory listening is an option that can be enabled/diabled. The index of a directory will be send when it is enabled, a directory is requested and the index-page was not found. A 404-page will be send when this option is disabled.

Hotlink protection is an option that can be enabled/diabled. Hotlink protection is on when it is enabled, otherwise it's off. Click here for more help

Automatic restartAutomatic restart


Automatic restart is an option that can be enabled/diabled. The server is using value's that contains the computer on time. Those value's stop at 49days. Some are security value's and that's why it's highly requerd enable this option and restart the computer every 49days.
